Booking Terms & Conditions

No deposits are taken and we try to be as flexible as possible with regards to changes of dates of any existing bookings. Card details will be taken on booking and full payment taken on arrival. Cash is also accepted.

Rooms are available to guests from 4pm on the day of arrival. Check in is not allowed after 10.00 pm, without prior arrangement. Guests are required to vacate their rooms by 10.30 am on the day of departure.

Prices are for accommodation and breakfast only. Additional charges may apply for the provision of other goods or services. Offers and discounts may be withdrawn without notice. Offers normally apply to a minimum stay of 2 nights, unless otherwise stated, and are only valid for telephone bookings, or online bookings made from this web site. Any single offer or discount may not be used in conjunction with another. Where more than one offer or discount is available the offer or discount offering the best price will apply.

If you wish to cancel or amend your reservation, please inform us as soon as possible as this may reduce any cancellation charges. Cancellations or amendments must be confirmed by letter or e-mail. We respectfully remind guests that we reserve the right to retain any deposits paid and that any outstanding balance for reserved accommodation may be charged (see conditions below). A minimum cancellation charge of £15 will apply to all cancellations. We recommend that guests take out holiday cancellation insurance.

Guests should note that we reserve the right to charge the full cost of your holiday if you: • Give less than one week’s notice of cancellation of all, or part, of your holiday (e.g. for an arrival day of Friday this means any cancellation after the previous Friday) • Fail to arrive on the agreed date • Cancel all, or part, of your holiday after you arrive

We would only cancel your accommodation, either prior to or during your stay, due to reasons beyond our reasonable control. In these circumstances we would be entitled to charge for any accommodation used and would try to offer you alternative accommodation. Any money paid by you, relating to the cancelled part of your holiday, would be refunded. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund. If a reserved room is not available, we will undertake to provide an equivalent priced or more expensive room at the initial price quoted or offer an appropriate discount.

We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw an offer of accommodation. We may terminate accommodation without liability and at any time if the behaviour or conduct of a guest or guests is deemed to be unacceptable or offensive, or the terms of this contract are broken.

Guests are liable for any breakages, damages or loss to High Fold Guest House property. These must be reported as soon as they occur. Damages or loss may be charged at full replacement cost. High Fold Guest House shall be entitled to deduct any sums due under this clause using the credit or debit card details supplied.

High Fold Guest House does not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles, bicycles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves, our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on file but will not be disclosed to any third parties.
