In 2008 our tariff ranges from £32 to £50 per person per night (based on two people sharing a room). The actual cost is dependant on the choice of room and time of year. To check out availability and the cost applicable to your specific room/s and date requirements please click here.

A supplement £15 per night applies to single occupancy of a double room (single occupancy of double rooms may be limited). Reduced rates apply for additional adults sharing a triple room. All tariffs include a full English breakfast, or vegetarian option.

Special Offers and discounts may apply at certain times for mid-week breaks and longer stays. Please see the Special Offers section on this page.

• High Fold Guest House is a non-smoking guest house
• We regret that we cannot accept pets
• We regret we are unable to offer accommodation to children under 10 years of age
• Single night-stays at week-ends and other busy periods may be restricted
• A minimum reservation of 3 nights may apply at bank holiday week-ends, school half term weeks and other specified periods

Booking Terms and Conditions.

Once we have confirmed your booking a legal contract then exists between High Fold Guest House and the person, or persons, making the booking. When bookings are made on behalf of a group, by an individual, this contract is deemed to be between High Fold Guest House and the individual making the booking.

The following terms and conditions will apply:

High Fold Guest House is a no smoking establishment and guests’ pets are not allowed inside the house.

Reservations & Payment:

To reserve accommodation a non-refundable deposit, up to the value of the first night’s accommodation (minimum £25 per person), is required. Reservations may be made by telephone, or by on line booking facilities, and use of credit or debit cards.

Any monies owing, under the terms of this contract, must be paid on or before departure. High Fold Guest House shall be entitled to deduct any sums due under the terms of this contract using the credit or debit card details supplied.

Check In/Out

Rooms are available to guests from 3pm on the day of arrival. Check in is not allowed after 10.00 pm, without prior arrangement. Guests are required to vacate their rooms by 10.30 am on the day of departure.

Prices

Prices are for accommodation and breakfast only. Additional charges may apply for the provision of other goods or services.

Cancellations/Availability

We respectfully remind guests that they may be liable for the full cost of their holiday if they amend or cancel their reservation. We therefore strongly recommend guests take out holiday cancellation insurance, which is available from most reputable insurance brokers.

If you wish to cancel or amend your reservation please inform us as soon as possible.

Guests should note that we reserve the right to charge the full cost of your holiday if you:

• Give less than 1 weeks notice of cancellation of all, or part, of your holiday (e.g. for an arrival day of Friday this means any cancellation after the previous Friday)
• Fail to arrive on the agreed date
• Cancel all, or part, of your holiday after you arrive

We would only cancel your accommodation, either prior to or during your stay, due to reasons beyond our reasonable control. In these circumstances we would be entitled to charge for any accommodation used and would try to offer you alternative accommodation. Any money paid by you, relating to the cancelled part of your holiday, would be refunded. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

If a reserved room/s is not available we will undertake to provide an equivalent priced or more expensive room at the initial price quoted or offer an appropriate discount.

We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw an offer of accommodation. We may terminate accommodation; without liability and at any time, if the behaviour or conduct of guest/s is deemed to be unacceptable or offensive, or the terms of this contract are broken.

Damages and Breakages

Guests are liable for any breakages, damages or loss to High Fold Guest House property. These must be reported as soon as they occur. Damages or loss may be charged at full replacement cost.

Liability

High Fold Guest House does not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Data

Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on file but will not be disclosed to any third parties.
